The Rev. James W. Hensley is a self-identified gay man as well as a neopagan minister and priest. In 2005 he was the first person chosen for ordination as clergy by the Fellowship. Father Jim's education is varied and wide-ranging. He is a graduate of Oneida Baptist Institute as well as Spalding University, the University of Louisville and St. Meinrad School of Theology. He currently writes Clamour Underbridge for The Letter and works as a technical support analyst for Humanities, Philosophy and Classical & Modern Languages in UofL's College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to his ministry with PPF he is pursuing a graduate degree in Humanities with a specialization in Linguistics and Interdisciplinary Cultural Studies of the Modern Period at the University of Louisville as well doing further work in Queer Studies.
